ALBARRACIN, TERUEL
Located in a bend of the Guadalaviar River, surrounded by walls and, above all, by spectacular nature , this town in Teruel could not be more beautiful. Its steep streets climb towards the mountain and it does not matter which one you choose to walk through, because any of its corners are a delight to walk through. Among its monumental attractions : the cathedral, the episcopal palace, the castle and a few churches and unique houses that are worth a visit.

Why visit Albarracín in summer?
The mountain range that gives it its name is full of water courses, trails and refreshing waterfalls for the summer . Don’t miss the Molino Viejo waterfalls , with viewpoints, walkways and waterfalls of up to 10 metres.
It is an ideal town to escape the heat, with an average temperature in July and August, during the night, of around 15 degrees.

CANDELARIO, SALAMANCA
Among the mountain villages in the province of Salamanca, Candelario is a must-see. With its steep streets crisscrossed by water channels and houses with wooden balconies, its beauty is added to that of its surroundings, on the side of a mountain.

Why visit Candelario in summer?
Temperatures during the summer are mild, while winter is very cold.
Its surroundings are recognised as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and are perfect for hiking.
To try its gastronomy , especially its sausages.
