Summer has arrived and with it the long-awaited holidays. Among the favourite destinations of the stars is Formentera , and, precisely, that is where Sassa de Osma has gone . This Balearic island is one of the favourite places of the Princess of Hanover, since she has already enjoyed its charming corners and its beaches with crystal-clear waters on other occasions with her husband, Christian de Hannover, and her children, the twins. Nicolás and Sofía, aged four. Adventures that, for sure, will be joined this summer by little Alexia, who came into the world last February . Below, we take a look at her roadmap.
On this occasion, the lawyer and fashion designer has chosen the charming town of Sant Francesc , the island’s capital , to disconnect from the city and routine. A municipality located in the northwestern part of Formentera whose epicentre is its 18th-century fortress church. Its pedestrian streets, all of them full of local shops, restaurants, boutiques and terraces, radiate the spirit of the Mediterranean. Another of its outstanding charms are the enormous bougainvilleas that decorate the white facades of some houses and that provide a unique smell and colour.
Specifically, Sassa de Osma has fallen in love with the Cerámica Mediterránea craft shop , at number 20 on Sant Jaume street. A shop specialising in handcrafted products where you can find original accessories for the home and also tableware full of summer details such as fruit, suns and marine animals. “Rediscovering hidden treasures in Sant Francesc,” explained the Princess of Hanover, referring to the fact that this is not the first time she has visited this beautiful establishment.
