It’s her favourite place, where she has returned every summer since she was a child. Menorca is an essential part of Laura Escanes’ life . That’s why it couldn’t be more exciting to tour with her some of the island’s most iconic places, such as Cara Morell, Ciutadella or the Cap d’Artrutx lighthouse. There we chatted with her about her favourite trips, her summer plans, why she loves Menorca… And we also had the opportunity to discover, thanks to the make-up artist Belén Casado and Dior Beauty , the simplest tricks to achieve that natural “good face” effect that we always look for on holiday.

Luminous skin
In the summer months, and especially on vacation, the beauty goal is usually twofold: achieving a tanned tone and not losing luminosity. Skin can become dull when we are tanned, or if we apply too much tanning product. That is why our first question for Belén Casado was how to maintain the lightness of the skin while intensifying its color.

To achieve this, Belén uses the melting technique , that is, mixing products. She does this by applying Forever Glow Star Filter (a sublimating fluid that, by the way, can also be applied to the body) before the foundation , which is always recommended to be light on hot days.
